Blue Rainbow Apartments

Awarded five stars by, the Blue Rainbow Apartments by Deansgate in the centre of Manchester are an ideal alternative to a fancy hotel, offering space, comfort and privacy with a great location.

The apartments are slap bang in the middle of the city, between Deansgate and Oxford Road train stations. To get to Old Trafford, catch a train from Deansgate to Manchester United station, or a tram, also from Deansgate, to Poloma. Trains run from Oxford Road to Manchester Airport regularly, taking 15 minutes.

There are three rates to choose from: Saver, Executive and Premium apartments. The Saver rate starts at £64 a night and has most of the same touches as the Premium apartment, excluding a few things like dressing gowns.

Each luxury apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer-drier, a spacious living area with a 42-inch TV and a DVD player and a sleek bathroom (the Saver and Executive apartments have White Company toiletries, the Premium apartments Elemis). The comfortable beds are topped with Egyptian cotton bedsheets. Unfortunately wifi is charged, as is parking, which must be booked in advance. The apartments surround an atrium and Japanese garden.
