If your trip to Manchester involves more than a visit to Old Trafford, it may be worth considering a serviced apartment. Over the last few years, Manchester has gone through a major redevelopment, and many serviced apartments have sprung up across the city offering a bit more space, privacy and flexibility than a hotel. You may think serviced apartments are an unnaffordable luxury option, but think again: there are apartments throughout Manchester to suit all tastes and budgets.

There is a cluster of apartments to be found to the northeast of Old Trafford in the inner city area of Castlefield, situated about halfway between the stadium and the city centre. Like Salford Quays, this is an area of the city currently enjoying regeneration and has good transport links.

Stayingcool Loft Manchester is a chic apartment in this up-and-coming part of Manchester, offering the kind of detail and service usually found at a boutique hotel. Waterside Serviced Apartments and Mayfair Apartments are two further options in the Castlefield area.

There are a wealth of serviced apartments spread across the city centre, a lot of them around Deansgate, to the south of the city centre. An obvious advantage of being in the city centre is the proximity to public transport links, and to entertainment and night life.

StayDeansgate Apartments offer contemporary one-bedroom apartments close to Deansgate railway station. Blue Rainbow Apartments deserve a mention for their Japanese garden.

City Centre

To the north of the city centre is City Stop Apartments, right in the hubbub of the town by the Printworks entertainment complex. If you want to dance, drink and be merry, this is a good place to base yourself.

To read in-depth descriptions and analysis of any of these apartments, hover over the ‘Apartments’ tab at the top of the page and click on the apartment of your choice.
